We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite mountain webcams, perfect for checking up on the weather before you go out, or simply passing time in the office wishing that you were out on the hills. N.B. From time to time on many of these webcams you may only see a grey screen, don’t worry this isn’t usually a technical fault, just the mist closing in!

The Ben Nevis Webcam is located at Tomacharich, Fort William. The camera viewing angle changes every 5 minutes, rotating allowing you to get a good allround view of Ben Nevis.

This Peak District Webcam shows the view down Monsal Dale, near Cressbrook and not far from Bakewell. The view is looking down the Dale towards Monsal Head. The valley is that of the River Wye.
