Hey I’m considering doing the ultra marathon I’m just wondering if there’s a place for someone who’s never done one before or is it a competitive race?

Yes there will be medals for all participants this year. Coming from an adventure racing background I was unaware of the importance of a medal to runners. We amended our policy for the Causeway Coast Marathon and gave everyone a medal and T shirt.

will their be any medals this year for the marathon-ultra?
i ran the marathon last year and thoroughly enjoyed it,
shame only the 10k race finishers received a medal.

i would be more than happy to pay that bit extra for the medal.

Yes everyone who finishes the Marathon, Challenge Walk and the Half Marathon will get a T Shirt. Everyone who finishes the 10k will get a medal.
